Bad thing is that he was by far our best defenceman tonight. Niskanen tried to give this one away several times.

This year, I'm talking the OV era

The Caps displayed a totally lackluster, heartless (Trotz's "Lack of urgency"), brainless in that game. We deserved to lose ten times over, but Gruby again proved to be a top notch goalie that could play as a primary goalie for any NHL team. How this team can come out and play like that given how they are capable of playing and how much they are paid to play is monumentally mind boggling.
