I'll preface this with "I love them because they won us a Cup."  But, I have to say this is atrocious hockey that shows no regard for any defensive responsibility whatsoever.  Poor Holts is being left out to dry to the tune of 4 goals in the first that could easily have been 6 or 7.  What is Reirden bringing to the table?  Really.

  Ya I think our problems in our own end is a coaching issue. Am I the only one that misses Trotz.

It's more than just a coaching issue. This team won a CUP for God's sake, they know about defense. What I am seeing is the old "It's not my problem" heartless wonders we knew all too well a couple-three years ago. A few exceptions of course.

   In the playoffs Trotz had them playing a tight defensive system. To be honest it looks like we aren't even using a system. We are playing street hockey. This is more about coaching than ability.

This is really bad.  No discipline whatsoever.  Florida is not a good team.

Even though the blew out Boston I expected a little bit of a hangover and a "it doesn't matter until April" mentality, but things like defensive coverage among the same 6 guys who played together all spring is really hard to fathom.  Lack of attention to detail is really not a good sign -- is smells like lack of interest.
