There was nothing selfish about that. Kuzy wasn't even yelling at him, he gave him a quick piece of mind while completely and utterly complying with what the linesman wanted him to do. He was waved out of the FO circle, didn't like it or the continuation of some bad calls and politely skated to his spot while saying something to the linesman or calling it bullshit.
That shouldn't be a call. Nothing selfish about it. Refs want us to lose this game, no other explanation the calls from them have been rather trash tier tonight.

Iit's good to see new refs coming up, but they have to do better than this. Maybe that fella's a little too fragile to be an NHL ref if he gets that upset that easily. I'll take a wild guess that he's never actually played hockey?

Okay. That was a much better period from our guys. We worked and got our act together. It's not our fault that the refs seem to have been trained by the likes of O'Bullshitters.

The only time I've seen a player get tossed that quickly is Harper, there are two umps that hate him for no reason
