We earnestly played good enough to win there. Let the Leafs have that late. I guess I can take us playing much better in our own end post that New Jersey game, but still. Losing a game when you slow a team like them down like we did, Tavares looked pedestrian that entire game. Holtby had some good saves. We should of been able to find a way to win that, and other than the timely first goal we looked as if we just kind of assumed we would pull that out and then gave it away.

     Wtf are you talking about? Hate to say it but Carlson has been by far our best defence man. He has actually been our best defensive defenseman.
   He was matched up against Matthews most of the game and did a good job against him. Matthews line didnt score with Carlson on the ice. The other 2 pairing were on the ice. Carlson is the least of our worries yet you continue to rip him.
    Try ripping on the players that deserve it.

   Very sloppy 3rd period. We just aren't very good defensively. Djoos is showing that he doesnt belong in the NHL. Not sure what's going on with Niskanen and Orlov. They aren't playing well at all.

after Holts was pulled, the first time Dylan had to retrieve the puck from his own end, he took his sweet time doing so. He did not act like he was on team that needed two goals in just about 60 seconds. By the time he had the puck on his stick there was a Leaf right behind him

   So what. We lost out on a second or two. The other 2 defence pairing are getting lit up every game and that's your complaint.
    Why aren't you complaining about Niskanen and Orlov getting torched every game. Or how Djoos has been playing. The kid is afraid of contact. He doesnt belong in the NHL.

I noticed that too, but 714 was not the only Quaalude on the ice.

yea, why rush it. Especially when you've had trouble establishing the zone, much less putting it the net

    How about we just be realistic. If he deserves to be shit on then shit on him. You can't deny that he is our best dman by a country mile. He seems to even be our shut down guy this year. That is a scary thought.

Would you just lighten the hell up.  Why are your posts always so personal and abrasive?  I don’t agree with everyone’s posts or assessment of players games but I don’t “WTF” them. 


It’s OK for someone to think differently than you ...... it really is.

Play sloppy for a bit, give up a couple long deflection type goals, miss on a bunch of opportunities, lose 4-2... Pretty basic loss, imo.
