Another deflection and another soft play by Djoos and Connolly. Deflections are going to be a big thing against us this season, especially as teams settle into games with us and realize that we play good man on man D and we have a goalie with good first shot saves. The thing about us getting a target on our back is more teams are going to realize they can't play cute with us. Toronto has shifts of it, but even they realize gotta grind it out with our D-man playing clear the garbage in front of the net.
We'll need to start playing "clear the man" from the front of the net more. And the ageless wonder Brooks Orpik (who somehow looks good this season) can't be the only one clearing the crease. Djoos needs to step up, Orlov too. All the D man really.

Djoos is not playing well for the 2nd game in a row. His lack of physical strength is really showing.
