Just watched it - didn't think it was that bad.  Not good, but not terrible.  I am liking Jaskin - thought he played really well and has for the last several games.  On the other hand DSP has played lousy and Backstrom was just slow and disinterested.

I actually liked the pick of Carlson in the shootout - mix it up a little.  I'd like to see Vrana next.

Hey - so Backstrom had to be expecting to be picked for the SO.  Maybe Riorden wanted to send a message when he picked Carlson - if you give a half-assed effort all night, don't expect to be in the shootout.

Or maybe he just played a hunch.

Two points is two points.  I will take it.  Just finished watching a recording of the game.  I thought Copley had a solid game, can’t fault him on any of the goals.  I also liked the play of Vrana and Burakovsky.  I thought the top two lines had good chemistry and played well.  It was interesting that Smith-Pelly and Connolly switched lines half way through the game and the 4th line was on when Niskanen scored.
