Well most of us (that do this lunacy), have had theror drafts by now.   As you can see i am total re-build mode.   While risky, though. . .I have 3 top 5 picks from '15 and '16, and landed the top two rookie WRs (both on pretty damn good teams). . .So while exceptions are very low, there is reason to be optimistic for the upcoming seasons.    (Is anyone surprised that D and the kicker we’re my top priorities?  Laugh all you want but they score more points than 70-80% of receivers.

     It really depends on the scoring systen your league uses that determines the value if a player.
     The leagues I was in were rb driven leagues but that changed. The NFL became a passing league and teams started using platoon systems in their back field. We ended up tweaking our scoring system to increase the value of running backs.
     When our league first started I loaded up on RBs and Qb. I had only one decent reciever. I did have a good TE as well. That was in 1998 so I dont remember my entire team. I remember my starting lineup other than my defence.
    As for kickers and defence scoring. They did score high but  I tried not to compare them with other positions. Kickers and defences are more if a crap shoot. You dont know which kicker or defence will score high that particular season.
