That was a sweet goal by Green.  I was somewhat sad to see him leave the Caps.  I liked him myself, but he did make some stupid mistakes.  Kind of the way I feel about Carlson.  I don't want to get rid of him either, but I wish he would clean up his game and be there 100%.  Green has one hell of a shot.  On that last goal you could see he knew it was coming well before the pass came to him.

That would be cool if we found a way to get him back, but he's just too expensive.
The thing i liked most about it. . .  it was so casual, no big deal let’s get back to work . . .

Green has improved his overall game but I wouldn't want him back unless we got a discount. When Green was here I'm sure he didnt play within the system. He was all over the ice. In fact the commentators used to call him a rover. He was very good on the pp though.

Oh believe me, I couldn’t STAND that shit, or BB not benchin his ass for it

Which is also why I say he’s playing the best hockey I’ve ever seen him play

I can guaren-god damn-tee
that shit won’t fly with Holland, Brash, or Hank . . . which certainly is part of his turnaround

So if it’s him being forced to play the right way, or if it’s that AND him finally growing the fuck up and realizing how to, and how not to play.

But if it’s the later, and the result is a Dman that shut Kane down and scrape up a goal like it’s no big deal. . , then HELL YA!!

On the other hand, if he came back in old form,   we have far to much of that as it is

Agree wholeheartedly. . .  but, that fact that he knows he is a weasel, owns it, and gives little to no excuses, apologies, or asks for special treatment . . .

I at least respect him as much as I can respect a weasel 🤣🤣

Lol never looked at it that way.
I dont know about you guys but no Caps games this week is going to kill me. I watch other games and enjoy it but it just isn't as intense when you dont care who wins.

My timings seem to be way out.
I tried to tune in to watch the Hawks/Wings game, but it was already over.  I got the Canes game - an hour earlier than advertised....
I was hoping to catch the Hens/Rags game, supposedly at 7.30 your time, according to the NHL (which is where I got the other timings from). soooo...?  Anybody know if that's still on?

The Hens/Rags game is just starting.  Funny stuff, I was just watching the start and they had the audio from the NHL game with the video of an NFL game for about 10 seconds.

Am I the only one that is surprised they did not at least review that goal by Hornqvist?  It clearly appeared the Hens wedged a stick under Lundqvist's glove and shoved him and his glove off the puck.  It looked like goalie interference to me.  The refs must be in such turmoil, two of the NHL's top darling teams, which do they favor?    >:(

We all know, if John Wayne Gacey was a Hens fan, he’d of been let go if even charged in the first place

I'm sure they thought they were getting a better player. They are finding out the hard way about Shattenkirk. He hasnt played well. And we complain about our dmen.

WE complained about him plenty when he was here.  I think about 2 weeks or so before we saw him for the bust that he was.
