Years ago, years ago, I took my vhs camcorder to Maple Grove. Sitting in the top row that noise made the tracking all fuzzy, every time. For funnys and rails.

Oh hell ya it was fun, even if it was 130 degrees on the track
But you’re damn right, I don’t see how anyone could not like John. Just an all out hell of a cool man. He still rides his bike along the side or the track while the rest rode back in their vans etc. The NHRA events probably run so long do to him signing autographs and hoodies n around with fans.
For Ford to pullout of NHRA while dominating it, and having the most fan friendly and accessible family in sports under contract because they wanna push minivans and crossovers is simply pathetic
