This was the definition of a gut check game.


But the longer-term issue still stands.  We've got to see how Kuzy is, and we absolutely HAVE to have him return to this series.

Wow!!!  We won!!  Played sooo hard, despite crazy penalties, some mental mistakes, losing Kuzy.  Holtby is OUR goalie and he is great!!  Don't want to hear about that &%$# Marc Andre Fleury ANYMORE.


I think we are seasoned now in this series--getting beat up in front of the refs, winning in this stupid city, playing without Kuzy, and holding them without a goal for so long tonight! 


I do love our team and so love watching this sport when they are playing.  Also--kudos to all of the Caps fans in Vegas (again) and to the thousands of fans who were at the watch party in DC.  That is SO heartening.  I can't wait to see the Caps in that arena on Saturday in a sea of red.  So deserved after tonight.

This team took this game without Kuzy!  Unless we get worn out I think we got this without him. If we keep physically taking it to the Knights then that will equalize the missing man.

NBC reported the Caps media said he was “questionable” to return tonight.  So either the injury isn’t that bad, or the Caps were playing with the Knights to make them think he might return.
