Survived a dumb penalty and a road 1st period and came out no worse for the wear. Showed Fleury was beatable. All that’s a win.

We need to be prepared for their speed on the counter and forecheck. Other than that, they are no great shakes. We will create a ton of scoring opportunities. If we get bodies in front of the Flower we'll be fine. We just need to play better positional D than we did on that second goal. They thrive off of making the game a scramble. Need to be solid, tape to tape, coming out of the zone. We played as bad a first 12 minutes as we did all season and we are still 2-2. If we settle down and play our game we should be good to go.

Their second goal was pure luck. Their first one was a little lucky too. Carlson was kind of pointlessly standing in the way, blocking 70's view and not trying to block the shot. One of those 714 moments.

OVI has to give us more energy, he hasn't been himself in period 1. We all see that. Lots of turnovers and I think he's on a lot of pressure.

It's oki, he had 2 shots on the goalie, but he has to come out STRONG AND like FIRE on period 2... Everybody seems to handle their sticks super tight.

I'm stressed as well... IMAGINE THESE GUYS...

I think the Caps can play better hockey. When i say Disastrous, I mean they can play better than this.
Lots of turnovers, and miss coordination, BUT WE ARE GETTING there. We can play better than this.
Forget about the 2 - 2 score, The overall play is really SO SO.

The ice seems slow, which is good for us. I’m very happy with that first period. Last time we played in Vegas they scored 4 goals on us before we knew what hit us. Rest of the game is ours.
