This is a different team than in years past. It's pretty clear to see. Before the playoffs started, I personally didn't think this team had a real chance to win it all, but after watching the determination that has been displayed, it's easy to see that there is an absolutely different mind set among the them than in years past. I've been a fan since 96 and have been through the heartbreak like the rest of you long time fans. I live an hour from Toronto and made the 10 hour drive to game 7 last year against the pens solo only to see them crumble again. There's no denying that this is a different team and it's easy to see. Just want people to show them the love they finally deserve. Living in a hockey crazy market, i've heard all the constant questions and criticisms that they deserved for years past but from what this team has shown this post season, that attitude has changed in the media and else where so don't be affraid to do the same. Afterall, we all love this team and give credit where credit is due.

The dragon was slain during round two, but prior to that a body part (forgot which one, feel free to let your imagination run wild) of that dragon ran off to Vegas to escape the oncoming slaying....
I believe we beat Columbus for the first time in the playoffs.
I believe we beat Penguins for the first time. OK, for the second, who cares what was happening last millennium, people were probably killing dinosaurs with the same hockey sticks after playing a game.
I believe we beat Tampa for the first time in the playoffs.
What's wrong with beating Fleury for the first time?

this is amusing because if you listen to certain political sect, we were using muzzle loaders up until the AR was invented, which apparently was yesterday
