Yes...hate thinking that the team ends up in the have-to-win situation (don't do well) after playing so well in Games 1 and 2.

I'm noticing a trend I'm not liking....

We got extended zone time...and the ref decides that something very little we do to battle in front of the net in the offensive end is a penalty. Like...just no. They aren't phantom calls, but they are pretty weaksauce....

Yeah he got called for trying too hard in the net battle, guess the narrative is we are supposed to just accept the loss so the refs can change the structure of the calls again next game?

I thought the refs were pretty good at the beginning of this game, but they deteriorated as the game wore on and are now just bloody awful. It didn't help that we just kept taking stupid penalties, so they didn't need to make anything up. Now.... meh!

I think only a fool would have expected us to sweep. My issue is that I do not think we looked particularly good tonight, and THAT is what has me worried. Losing,fine. A sweep is not realistic, but I think we looked sloppy and slow.
