According to this WaPo article from the last series it only applies to two areas, which are exclusively STH seats. (It doesn't affect me at all because I don't have the $2k that it would cost for airfare and nosebleed seats for my son and I to go on Friday or the following Saturday anyway. The DC games are out because they are school night games and I won't take him out for 2 days to go to a game.)
"The policy only applies to two areas: the Lightning’s Lexus Lounge, which includes seats against the glass, and the Chase Club luxury suites, according to Bill Wickett, the team’s executive vice president of communications. Those seats are all held by Lightning season ticket-holders, and because they aren’t available for public sale, they’re only available on the secondary market. The seats in question account for 9 to 10 percent of the Amalie Arena seating, Wickett said."

yea, but even by American standards the D.C. area metro sucks ass. The coverage area of the subway is pitiful for a city where over %80 of the workforce commutes from the suburbs to downtown, and management of the metro sucks ass too

Sad to see that some things never change. Metro was unreliable when I lived there in the early 2000s. How they are perpetually underfunded (so they claim) when the city kills every road project and gives it to Metro is beyond me.

The biggest problem with the DC metro is it's design failure. DC metro is the only subway system in America that doesn't have at least 3 tracks. No mass transit system should be designed where single tracking is acceptable. 3 tracks allow maintenance without interruption. So blame the f'tards that wanted to save a little money initially by not thinking this clearly.
