I have a question.  On some plays they go back and watch reviews to decide whether or not a penalty should be doled out. Why on some plays and not on others? Is there any rule, vague or not, that addresses this?  I think they make this shit up as they go.

I'm sure he was too close and didn't have enough control of the puck to get it up and over that pad, glove, and arm of Murray. He was looking for a deflection or pass for a second and finally just shot it. He would have had to lift that puck at least a 50° angle to get over that mass.

Well, the Caps have limited Pittsburgh to 18 shots coming down the stretch.  When you're down some top players, why not play the suffocating game and look for the one break?  Scoring first was huge,  so that when Pittsburgh answered we didn't have to change a thing about how we were playing.


You guys who were looking for Ref help for the Pens, it appears that they have swallowed their whistles.
