Damn! I was so busy posting the goal I missed the replays and the tip in.  I just went back and saw it. DOn't know  how I missed all the times they said it.

Huh?  I don't agree. Columbus is a good team and fighting as hard as we are. We made a couple mistakes, but otherwise playing hard with some good chances.

From the time I typed that I thought we picked up our game a lot.  But there are a lot of missed passes that could have given us a lot of opportunities.  Stephenson was great on Thursday but not nearly as good tonight. The 2 on 1 with Beagle was a great example.  He made a nervous play.  We are doing ok (better than Columbus who can't make a decent line change) but not as solid as Thursday.


I admit, however, I overstated in my post.  I've NEVER done that before.  LOL.

I have to say, NBC has wicked surround sound of the game.  I feel like I'm in Capitol One Arena. NBC Sports Washington sound more front loaded with little rear/surround action.

I'll amend that.  Whole third period so far has been abysmal.  This has all the earmarks of a classic Caps fail.  They have 1/2 a period to come out and assert themselves and play good hockey or it's not going to go well.
