Outskated, outworked, outcoached. CBS plays as a team. The Caps are all one man efforts and no sustained pressure. In their own end they get panicky and just try batting it anywhere or end up in a little box right in front of the goal while the other team skates around with it. This looked exactly like any of a dozen home playoff losses the last 8-10 years. I expect CBS to wrap it up in 5. Maybe even 4 if they win the next one. But hey, we got another division banner.

For sure. The panicking aspect always drives me crazy. it seems to be a feature of every Caps team year in and year out when they feel the slightest pressure. Different players, but every year it's the same, and it doesn't seem that any of them are unaffected by this.

Caps could win and gave up this game. I won't surprise if it'll go up to seven games.

Yes, it's like they didn't play so many games in playoffs.
