Honestly not fair to play him there when he hasn't played in so long.  He has never been my favorite, but he is hit or miss.  He does get a shutout now and then - I believe he shut the Rags out earlier this year.
I do not think he is the best choice vs a team full of snipers (not saying NYR are, but).  He plays too small in net for my liking and he ALWAYS goes down on his belly too early in this weird belly flop maneuver that leaves the top 1/3 of the net fully open.

Also, he didn't get any help.  He was hit by a runaway train, and the Caps just kind of watched it happen.

Kind of sucks for him to be the guy at the wheel for the crash that ended their season though.  I mean this game no more important than any other 1 game, but nah, it did end their season.
