I guess you could call this Leonard's coming-out game.

Hot damn.  I lasted till it was 5-0 and was falling asleep anyway so went to bed.  I was confident of two things:  Caps would win and they'd blow the shutout  :-|
And I'm with you Alta - didn't expect this kind of jump from the boys at all last night.  I heard Joe B say they got in at 3am.
Lenny had a hell of a game, and plays with a little snarl.  He's made some nice passes too.  Not afraid to go to the boards and fight for the puck either.  Liking his game more and more.  Couple times recently...both on PP I think he's passed up good shot opportunity to make a smart pass that led to goals both times.
FWIW I thought both goalie interference non calls were correct, and think both coaches only challenged because they had to...Sharks were trying to keep the game from getting away and Carbs was trying to save the shutout, with neither coach really thinking they'd win the challenge.

FFS - HIT HIM!!!
SHOOT - THE - PUCK

I was a bit skeptical on Lenny earlier this year and thought he might not be ready for prime-time.... wrong again!

I didn't notice Iorio too much - should have watched him more closely.

Saw McMike really working hard in the D-zone a few times - very scrappy - love it.

Chisholm looked fairly solid again. I'm glad he is getting some reps and hopefully they will rotate him in as well as Big Mac, to keep them all fresher and avoid injuries.

Gotta be a fun lockerroom right now.
