Well the Caps played about 25 good minutes - guess that's not enough to win a hockey game these days.
Seems the Caps struggle to get up for matinee or oddball start times. Lindy have rough go - couple those could/should/would be goalie interference (if anyone could decide on what that is). I though Lindy had that one covered more than once. I didn't like the 1st goal...less than minute in - he seemed unready for that shot.
Wilson hit was clean hit. He rocked that dude but good - Ouch. Not wishing anyone to get injured, but damn Wilson is some kind of threat out there. I am shocked the refs got that right, and made the right call after reviewing it. Wilson has an impact in every game. He is leading this team this year.
Leonard looks good to me - he's in the play. He does makes some mistakes (usually defensively) but he is a puck magnet. Caps definitely need a guy who wants to drive some O and shoot the puck. I like that the Caps are giving him PP minutes...gives him opportunity to use his skills. He does hit people too, but scoring is his game, and why not let him use it.
Carlson - OOF. yes he scored a goal late, but he was soft defensively. He still looks off to me.
Lappy made couple nice plays - good keep in at blue line than nice passing play that set up a goal...good for him he needed to show something. Milano was invisible for the 8:38 of TOI he got.
Sourdiff i can't figure out - he hustles, I give him that, and I'm not expecting 20G out of him, but he seems to take a lot of penalties and that's gonna earn him more bench time.
I'd say Milano or Lappy are odd man out when Dubouis returns
