when you want to stop being a hypocrite you can call out everyone that types O V as well

OV is short for his name. Its not a number. You won't even say his name. Did you guys have a bad break up?

ArJunaZ:
Jesus, that should be a delay of game. No excuse for the  goal coming off the mooring there.

Just got home, got caught up on the DVR and hopped on the board only to read useless drivel about using a name versus a number, as if it makes any difference at all.  Can you just learn to let the little stuff go, or is it pathologic?

More importantly, this was the Carolina team I thought we'd see all year.  They have a bunch of good young d-men and I thought they'd be better this year.  Of course, we're helping them out by turnover it over as often as we have.

Time to steal another two points!

Let's GO C-A-P-S!!!

BlackIce:
The interesting thing about this team right now is that the coach is mixing up the forward lines from game to game, trying to find the right combinations going into the playoffs.  There has developed at least a hint of a goalie question, and the coach is still trying to figure out how he is going to deal with that going forward.

But since the two D'men were acquired at the deadline, once Kempny was inserted as Carlson's usual partner, there has been NO tinkering on defense.  It seems as if, for better or worse, the team is locked into a fixed rotation on the blue line, and will not deviate, except between the bottom two partnering with Orpik.  It seems to me as if the organization feels it has absolutely no wiggle room on how to organize the defense -- it HAS to be the way it is.  No other fit is possible.  Which is probably as clear an indication that the blue line is the weakness on the team as there is.  There is no flexibility, no adaptability there.

ArJunaZ:
Maybe if we pray hard and do the rosary continuously the Capitals defense can be resurrected on Sunday.   ;)
