I was happy with the play today. Shane was a pleasant surprise.  He looked like he'd been playing in the NHL for years.
We had a slight let up in the third, but kicked it up three notches after we went down 2-1.  It would be nice if we could just keep the pedal down at all times.
Kuzy was sickkkk!  Great finish!

It's so hard to figure where this team is at. Top of division and we still are very nervous about our prospects. Same old, same old!

I saw some post from her the other day where she complained about Neanderthal comments of some posters on a non-Caps area, so she said she was leaving.

With NJ's loss to the Pens in OT, they now stand at 89 points with 5 games to go.  They can't amass more than 99, and they can't amass more than 40 ROW, with the Caps already having 43.  So that means that a tiebreaker goes to us with NJ, which means that can finish no lower than 4th in the Metro, and since no more than 4 teams can advance from the Atlantic, that means we are officially in the playoffs.

You are correct, Caps are in the playoffs thanks to Penguins win.  Need 4 more points to clinch the division.  If we beat Carolina tomorrow night that should do it I would think.

And as it turns out, Fla just lost in OT, so they have 86 points in 76 games and can amass no more than 98.  So no tiebreaker needed -- there are only 7 teams that can mathematically catch/pass the Caps now.
