it was a decent battle between the two top teams, I’m still disappointed at the result

Meh, good game. Ovi evening it up was a win for us! Didn't see anything out of the Jets that says we can't beat em'.. Is what it is.

Yes, once again the loss comes via a format that won't exist in the playoffs.
The one distinguishing feature is that our goaltending has been, on the whole, very good this year. Whereas Winnipeg has, right now, the best goalie on the planet.
If I were a betting man, which I'm not, my bet would be that we would not meet Winnipeg in the finals. Maybe one of these two teams will make it to the finals, but both won't.
