Mad game, but we came out on top.

Nighty night.

I know people around here have some reservations about the Caps' defense, but in today's game, on several occasions Florida's defense didn't make bad plays -- because they weren't even in the picture to make any play.

Beauvillier looks VERY fast.

And just to keep everyone up to date down on the farm, in his game yesterday Protas' younger brother Ilya didn't score -- but he had 5, count 'em, 5 assists.  He's now up over 2 PPG -- in his age 18 season.  He has another year of junior eleigibility left.

.  Also, I was listening to a Hockey News podcast the other day where one topic was college players who could help their NHL team next year.  The lead analyst said there were a couple of players who could help THIS year, the prime candidate being -- Ryan Leonard.

Caps future does look bright!! Nice to have something to look forward to once Ovi does his thing.

Im becoming a fan of Bubi!! Looks like a seasoned Frank. Fast with some skill! Relentless on the puck! Good pickup for the Caps.
