BlackIce:
Ovie's return to the team is a plus for so many reasons besides what he brings to the table.  It allows Carbery to re-establish the Duhaime/Dowd/Raddysh 4th line, which is where they belong, stops having to juggle Radish and Mangiapane into and out of the top 6, resets Mangiapane into L3, which seems to be his natural fit.  And with he and Eller on L3 there is enough defensive responsibility for them to carry Vrana on that line, which is good because Vrana has been chipping in offensively lately.  And of course, we get to see if the Protas/Ovie chemistry can be re-established.  It is really the Protas fit on the first line that has allowed the forward lines to sort themselves out as well as I've ever seen it on a Caps team.  Everyone SEEMS to be where they ought to be, and there are no glaring weaknesses.

Mickstix:
Don't know if you guys saw this or not, but on pregame they were talking salary and Tarik mentioned the "cap era and if you go to the site to see salary...." Alexa said "yea, no more CapFriendly" And Tarik said.. "Go to CapWages"  8-0 (Might be the same site we talked about in the other thread, Im too lazy (and my memory is too bad) to go look it up.
