Another nice road DUB!!! Was on the phone and missed most of the 3rd, other than watching out the corner of my eye.. Looked like we controlled most of it! Hope they saved some gas for tomorrow!!

Good effort.  Nice win.  Honestly thought after missing all our chances in the 1st half of game we'd for sure let it slip away.  Nice kick assist by the ref to bump the puck out in front for McMike to score.
And yes...it was Tavares who punched the back of fever's head to send his helmet flying, and then Tavares who then immediately had the golden opportunity that Lindy stretched across to save.  I would have been royally peeved if he'd scored there.  Not sure how the refs missed it - right in front of the net.
Also....just a tad of sweet justice for Protas with the ENG...HE is the one who did NOT sink an ENG in the previous Toronto game that resulting in them tying, then winning in OT.
Did i hear Joe B correctly in that he said Caps have not won a game in Toronto in 5 years?

I notice that there are 8 games left, the last two back to back, before the Christmas break.  Would it make sense to hold him out until after Christmas?  I can't believe they'd bring him back and have him play in back to back games right away.

Yea, that makes more sense. I didn't look at the schedule, just took a guess that he'd miss 13 games. But, if he's ready, he's ready! We'll have to see!


I was hoping more people would "play", but you (me about 4-5 games ago) ask questions like that during the GDT's and nobody even see's it or just ignores ya. lol


I'll pencil you in for 15 (8 more) though!  :P
