Yea, 12:30 is BS.. Not being able to hear Joe and Locker is  :clown: :poop:

The game is on Monumental locally, can you not find that on the interwebs?

You could also stream the radio call. My only issue with streaming it is its usually a good 45 seconds behind the tv broadcast.

I sure hope Leonard grows a bit more, but he is already 20 so may not gain any more height.  He better keep his head up in the meantime.  He definitely has confidence and this gametime should be pretty valuable for him.

I thought the Ovi celebration ceremony was very well done.  They handled the family nicely and the Gretzkys were great. I was surprised that Leonsis declined to take the mike when Ovi offered it to him - that was nice of him and classy.  It was pretty funny when Gretzky complimented the refs and the fans booed.

I wish they had Backstrom come down and be in the ceremony.  They could have interviewed him on the TV coverage as well, but I didn't see it if they did.  I am sure the Caps will do a big ceremony next game and I bet the bring out Backstrom and Oshie and maybe some others.

Speaking of the next game, that Chatfield body slam definitely deserved a suspension and it is going to be interesting to see what the retaliation is. I think they should just constantly tell him "next year" all game and then just go after big-time the first time they play next year.  We don't want risk anybody getting hurt or suspended at this point.  However if somebody had a clear chance to board the hell out of him and get away with it, that would be nice.

I would really like to see  McIlrath dress Thursday, but, since he’s now here for another two seasons maybe next year will work.

4.29 GPG allowed the last 7 games.  Not surprisingly, a 2-5 record.  Hardly a way to enter the playoffs.  Carberry better be on top of this or they aren't going anywhere......again.

I mentioned the other night they'd been giving up a goal every 4 shots for the last couple weeks. Our goalies masked just how poor our D is. They need to get that back, or else..
