Ricky Medlock and the boys! I bought the album with that awesome cobra on the front!! LONG time ago, when I first started playin out myself. Had to be 1980-81 or so!


Kick-ass, no apologies, southern rock style!! I had heard somewhere?, that they tried a shift towards heavy metal, later on. I have no idea when that was. Don’t even know if they’re around anymore?
But definitely an awesome southern rock group, who weren’t afraid of Hollywood critics opinions, AT ALL!!

Oh hell ya! They’re still around, in a way.  Rickey, (was we know), is primary with Skynyrd, but he’s still runs Blackfoot.  He’s retooled the band with his protege and some bad ass musicans, but it’s still Rickey’s Blackfoot.  He oversees the songs and is all their videos

They also play all the classics and Rickey joins them live every now and then
