I caught this show on tv the other day, can't for the life of me remember which channel, but I thought it was very interesting. It was also part of an hour long show, the story behind the music or some such.....

I remember listening to this in my misspent youth with a good bit of green tobacco 8)

I love Roger Waters work and Radio K.A.O.S. is a great album IMO. It's one of my favorites I listen to a few times each year. I'm listening to it right now.

Just like Peter Gabriel was the creative genius behind Genesis, Roger Waters was the the creative genius of Pink Floyd. I absolutely love the work these two people have done. Some of his work is truly genius.  He is phenomenal at capturing some of the deep challenging thoughts and struggles of the human existence and putting it to lyrics and music. Some of his works require a little effort to digest and fully appreciate. They are not all works that draw you in instantly.  No music collection would be complete without a considerable amount of his work.

Fuck yeah!!  Derek (legend has it “Duane,Erik = Derek”) and The Dominos is an all time classic album, if you anyone doesn’t have the Deluxe 20+ edition, they need it.  It’s my favorite Clapton material ever.

That being said, Duane takes Clapton to school on Layla!!

I was just listening to Dark Side the other day.  I don’t think will ever get the real story of why Brain Damage/Eclipse where separated into two songs.
