I went to a Hank Jr concert once. Was at the old cap center in landover. Jr's reputation at the time was he was usually half lit while performing. So I figured ef it, I may as well be too. I remember walking in the building. The next morning I picked up friend on the way to work. He looked down at the running board as he got in the truck and asked what I had for dinner the night before. I said hamburger. He said looks about right.  8)  I think my date drove the truck home, I think.  Found out latter I had a very good time.

ain't no way in hell I'd be working the next day if I tried that these days

:(  just saw him on the new Skynard documentary on Showtime this weekend. . .   A hell of a guitar player, even if he was the California outcast in a Jacksonville band

A great tune for your Sat AM Breakfasf Beer

This is on my distinguished list of “Songs That Cannot Be Played Loud Enough”

I love how he uses the name of his “favorite tune Tommorow Never Knows what it doesn’t know to soon”. Unless you’ve been living in the moon for the past 50ish years, he’s referring to the Beatles song

These guys made one classic album anc one great album,  to bad they became (more of) dumbass Britcunts with overinflated egos and ruined what could of been a GREAT band for years

Just 4 guys who changed rock n roll.. Feel sorry for today's youth, who never got to experience some of the greats that came along during our time. VH in their prime were some bad mfr's!!

Only problem with VH was that they peaked with their debut album. That album was awesome. After that I thought they were too commercial. They were OK for an easy listening band.
