This Jets team is pretty good. Huge size and they can hold onto the puck - could make a long playoff run.


Not much to get enthused about for the Caps.  Could be down about 6-0 if not for Charlie.

NHL official scoring says SOG in the 2nd were Caps 11 Jets 8

Well, this road trip has been sticking out on the schedule like a sore thumb for awhile.  We are playing a bunch of teams who are objectively as good as to significantly better than we are, we have to do all the traveling, and the schedule is compressed - 5 games in 8 days.  THIS is where our final position in the standings will start to come into clearer focus.

Yeah well...the Jets are tough to score on....I had this down as a loss before it started.  Caps strung several very well played games together...and that's asking a lot from this team

Wasn't able to watch the game last night but I just caught the highlights and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.  The Jets are one of the better teams in the league so there's no shame in losing to them.  Caps just got to chock this it up as a loss and move on to the next crazy venture beneath the sky.
