This may be heresy, but up 6-0, if Lindgren is on the trading block as some have reported, do you pull him just so he doesn’t get hurt?

If true, and if he wasn’t going for something here, maybe you’d pull him. Hard to say, Pitt has accepted the loss, not playing as hard. Caps have no reason to push as hard as they did earlier.

I think if Charlie was "really" on the block they'd of started Shep. Good outing tonight might stir some extra interest though.

Agreed.  I assumed that’s why they were planning on starting DK.  Goes back to a post you had earlier.  Charlie is “for sale, not ON sale”.

Something I noticed during this game.
It seems Toronto has fallen out of love with the Hens.   Prolly concentrating on Vegas these days.   ;)
There were none of the historical biases in favour of the Hens and aginst us.
Maybe it's purely to do with the new wave of refs now, who don't have their personal preudices that some of the old guard used to harbour?

Probably has more to do with Pittsburgh not making the playoffs, and likely the Caps as well. Though Caps still have chance.

Except for icing calls...the fn Hens ice the puck or dump it in from behind the center line multiple times a game and its not icing.

Even though I missed this game I'm loving how abysmal Pittsburgh is this year. Unlike the Caps, who were simply hoping to squeeze a little more juice out of their aging core, the Pens went all in with the Karlsson trade and now they're just a towering inferno of ineptitude! And after the 4-0 whooping they took from Edmonton word on the street is Crosby wants out!
