It is amazing actually, that the Caps are as good as they are with a -38 goal differential.

I hate to say it but I'm really hoping they lose the next few games.  Even if they somehow squeaked into the playoffs, there is no way this team makes it out of the first round. I really, really want them to be sellers at the deadline and pick up some decent draft picks. I know anything after a first round pick is not likely to produce a top player, but we have to rebuild.

Mickstix:
I mean, we're 8 points out of the 2nd wild card. I just don't see how this team makes up 8 points (and jumps 3 teams). And certainly not before the March 5 trade deadline. They'd have to start looking fucking GOOD GREAT for Ted or GM to think this is anything but a full on yard sale year. Am I wrong?


The goal diff is amazing. I think 95% of our wins are when the goalie stands on his head. It's certainly not because we play good defense. lol Our goalies should probably be top of the league stats wise, except whenever they lose, they get smoked.
