Why can't we score goals? Just doesn't make sense. Probably one of the best periods they've played all year and they go 19 minutes w/nothing to show for it. $:-\$

Look, long gone are the days of "that goal", but when you have an open net and you pass........meh.

Maybe Ovi needs to go see the NHLPA . For fan abuse!

Ovi passed up a netter? I didn't even see that one. That 2 on 1 with Strome used to be a goal about 90% of the time. (With Nicky or Kuzy) We just don't capitalize on much of anything anymore.

It wasn't an open net, but there was nobody between him and the goalie and he passed instead, to and through traffic for nothing. Imho, he should have taken the shot and we'd have got a face off in front of their net. Two chances instead of the guaranteed ZERO.
