Lindy was hardly better. they had like 5 goals on 8 shots WOW.
I think the Caps were mentally on the plane home before the game started. WTF
Outscored 10-1 in last two games.
Good news is they come home to two easy home games next; Dallas and Rangers

This team is ready to implode. Not sure how they beat LA & Anaheim. Ovie may not reach double digits for the season. This is what happens when you fail to realize that you are deep into rebuild mode. They should have kept the guys together to try for back to back cups but as soon as that failed, the rebuild needed to start in earnest. Here we are 5 1/2 years later and they've barely begun. Dim days ahead.

He may need to retire even before the season ends. Just fake an injury and then retire during the offseason. #2 alltime in goals is nothing to sneeze at and he did it in a much less scoring friendly era. To keep going like this indefinitely is just embarrassing.
