OT was over so quick I had to watch game highlights to see who was out there. Kuzy, who isn’t slow but doesn’t care. Carlson, who is slow. And Fever.

I thought Wilson started OT with Carlson and Kuzy - maybe he came off quickly.  Kuzy is pretty much worthless except in the shootout and once every 5 games when he makes a cool pass.


I've said for years that Kuzy could be a superstar if he was coached the right way.  He fell in love with skating around and passing instead of scoring goals. If you paid him on an incentive only contract he would score 50 a year.

Carberry pretty much called out Kuzy on the OT loss...out of position.
Realistically, Kuzy SHOULD be our best OT hope with the skating and stick handling ability, but .... that's our Kuzy.
Too bad for Mantha - the dude been so snake bit for so long, and he finally gets a bounce and then a good second goal and then rewarded with a puck to the face.  I thought McMike/Mantha/Protas had a really good night - especially McMike.

I might give McMike a shot at OT - he's a bit of a defensive liability ,but compared to Kuzy?
I'd prolly put Strome and Willy out there.  Not sure what our faceoff numbers are so that matters.

Mantha, McMike, and Willy tied for 2nd most goals on the team with 3 .  Three goals in 10 games is pretty much where we want Mantha to be.  Especially considering he's been on 3rd/4th line.  Of course, you not paying him 3rd/4th line money.

Problem is we have only 2 goals from Ovie, 1 from Kuzy and zero from Oshie.  3 goals from half of your top six in 10 games. (and  0 from Backy)

Milano has had TWO goals taken away now right?  I mean hard to keep up when we have had 6 goals overturned.
