Trotz

Time for him to go, he's done all he can with this squad. This season, every time this team looks like it's about to hit rock bottom they play a decent game or two. Just enough to prolong the inevitable.
In the Sharks post game saturday evening he said "I think except for the first period in Anaheim we played well on this road trip". Now being diplomatic with the press is one thing, but that statement was just flat out delusional.

So we just blame another coach? It's an upper management issue plain and simple. They love the status quo and until that changes then the status quo is all we'll have. Retooling around Obechkin and Backstrom year after year hasn't worked. I love them as players as much as anyone,  but it didn't work. It's time to blow it up and start again, but that'll never happen until Obechkin decides he's done so whatever.

The whole front office is to blame. But are you honestly telling me Trotz can win a Cup with this squad???

Then it is a coach problem

Agree with Alta that Trotz must quit.
First of all,he has been managing this for many seasons,in fact the maximum result for him was 1/4 playoffs.
Second,it’s main coach assignment to make all these star players play as a whole organism.
Lastly, looking on other teams who have won Stanley cup in past, they also had some star players with unpredictable characters ,however it was the main job by main coach to motivate them and played hard.

We have a core leadership and a coach that just don’t have the killer “win at all costs” approach throughout the playoffs. I like Trotz but he is passive aggressive - with the refs and with the players (besides A goaltender, when has he ever benched an established player for poor play or lack of effort?). He has also never had great playoff success.  Somehow, I do really like him, but he is likely to go down as the coach who has coached the most games ever, without winning a Cup.

We've been through how many coaches?  Keep blaming them as if it's their fault and all you will have the same continued failures. Can Trotz win a cup with this group?  No, but can anyone? No.

I think Trotz can win a cup but not with this team. Not sure getting rid of Trotz is the answer. I highly doubt he gets fired but I also dont think we will resign him.
If he is gone I dont want Reirdon to replace him. He is supposed be handling the dcore and it isn't working. I'd go outside the organization and replace all the coaches.

I like Trotz.
He is not to blame.

In fact I will go so far as to say you cant blame Trotz, or Ted.
Ted opens his cheque book every single year to give us the best possible chance.

I'm getting a little worried for our scouting staff tbh.

Would I, be out of order to accuse the middle stff, the accountants and all those
 intermediary staff of maybe.... skimming?
