With Big Eddie injured, I'd give Alexeyev the shot. Although I don't know how lefty/righty plays into it.
I like the way McIlrath plays, but he's what 33 and a career AHL guy. If you looking for straight up toughness and size though...just not sure he could keep up.

If we're lucky he'll only miss +/- 5 games. Hopefully whatever product we throw out there can at least break even for a few games, while teams get their shit together.
