So I don't follow the AHL closely at all, but is the Bears success due to good young talent or the fact the team has about 50% pretty decent career AHL talent with lots of experience?  I mean I know the team has some veteran AHL guys, but is the ratio the same for other AHL squads or do the Bears have an abundance?

HAH!  I think I can add a tuppence here.

We have an amazingly fabulous fella in our chain of Caps schools of development.  He and his brother run the London Knights, I believe???  One tier down from the AHL, I think.

He came in as an emergency replacement after "he who cannot be named"    :O= :O= :O=   made such a balls up.

It's coaches like him that have spotted and trained the raw talent and instilled in them the basics, that is then sent to the AHL and then to us.

If anybody is in any doubt, I give you the great Dale Hunter!
 :bad:

What happens to the players when they get to us is another story........ :-|

Surreylily:
I think we should send all of the Caps coaches to spend a season with the Hunters.    :uh-huh:
