What's the beef about Cap Friendly anyway? I never used the site before. I always use Cap Central @ HockeyBuzz for contracts/$$ info.

In my opinion, CapFriendly was the better site that tracked NHL salaries/team salary cap/IR/LTIR cap hits. Monumental Sports, the ownership group that owns the Capitals, bought CapFriendly and made it a private website. Which only works if they retained the people that made CapFriendly work.
The other sites I’ve had to use the past month aren’t as good.
Again, in my opinion.

Yea, I went to the (now closed) site and they linked to some "Salary Swish" site for NBA. If that's anything like what Cap Friendly was, it's definitely better and more detailed than Cap Central.
Now, back to fucking Male Race Walking?... Nevermind. :snicker: I mean, I get it for older folks. Low impact, healthy.. But the Olympics?? :huh:

Ping pong & Mens field hockey are questionable to me. I mean these are some great ping pong players, but is ping pong really a SPORT? I consider that a recreational game, not a sport. Kinda like Billiards (thats pool to you rednecks). Hell I'm a pretty bad ass ping pong player, but i aint no way no how what i'd call an athlete at this stage in my life.
Side note....i saw some giant woman who was a good example of German master race whipping the shit out of the American girl in Ping Pong. And the entire USA women's ping pong team was Asian and so was part of the German team...it was almost like a gag or something.
Then i saw a glimpse of them playing doubles....Holy Cow but was they moving around. I dont know HTH they stay outa each others way
I didn't even know there was a mens field hockey. Im not saying they aren't athletes, but there's got to be a line somewhere for Olympic sports. Where the hell do you ever play Mens field hockey?...thought this was a made up sport for high school girls since ice hockey was too rough :snicker:
