Perhaps the single most surprising stat about this year's team is that they have fought their way to a 50% face-off percentage as a team. Thy have been a terrible face-off team the past few years, and there hasn't been a personnel turnover to suggest that they would be that much better this season.

I didn’t look at team stats from Friday, but they must won over %90 of the faceoffs for the percentage to go up like that this late in the season.
