This team is officially a dumpster fire. Finishing well out of the playoffs might be the best outcome. The question is whether the FO realizes that a major rebuild is upon them.

I got home late and heard it was 3-0. Just didn't have the energy for it.
Caps gonna wake up and squeak into the playoffs and then stomp the Bruins in the first round 4w-1L. :uh-huh:
Oh wait, did I wake up there for a second...or am I still dreaming?
Caps currently technically cling to last WC spot - tied in points with the Cats, but when the Caps lose to the Canes Saturday, the Panthers will officially knock the Caps out of that spot with more ROW. And with a tie or a win the Isles will pass us too.

A dumpster fire with nothing but gas to try and put it out. We're gonna cling to Nicky, Oshie, Kuzy and Carlson, so in 3 or 4 years Ovi can (hopefully) take a picture as the GOAT, with the original 5 wearing Caps unis.. (Then it'll take another 2-3 years to get back to anything resembling a good NHL team) :)
