I forgot this game was on the schedule.


Apparently so did the Caps. 


Although, I was thinking Saturday in the 3rd period vs Boston that the Caps would have NOTHING left for this matinee game less than 24 hours later.


Fucking schedule is stupid.  Don't play for 8 days then back to back in two different cities.


And San Jose at home is the Caps fucking kryptonite -their record vs SJS at home is atrocious over the last 15 or so.

Plus, the Caps played less than 24 hours earlier, while the Sharks' last previous game was Thursday.


When you have an older team and short turnaround, these things are going to happen.

I'd love to blame the schedule, but truth is, that is how they look/play 75% of the time. They can't score. Lavi has no answers.

Who didn't think they were going to lay an egg after the Boston win?  It was a foregone conclusion.  It hardly matters, though.  They're either going to miss the playoffs or get in for one series.  They should start pruning the dead wood as soon as the off season arrives.  They're 2-3 years behind as it is.
