They'll be in Red tomorrow night! We knew they'd show rust with all the lineup changes. Those last 2 periods they looked good to very good! Just hope it continues!!  :cross:

Thought we gave it away there couple times but nice to get a win.
Love to see Nicky/Willy score


Backstrom and Wilson with Milano is pretty tough line with Backy passing and Wilson bumping and Milano’s wheels could be wicked line for sure
Nice goal by Orlov in OT with good pass by Oshie and Milano making a play as well


Wow. Didn’t expect to see that when I got home. Almost didn’t even turn it on.

Well hot damn - didn't get to watch it until this morning and after we fell behind 3-0 I stopped watching and just had it on in the background.

Usually we're the team playing great early, building a 3-0 lead, and then barfing up the lead, the game and the win.

Loved Milano out on 3 on 3.  I know Oshie made the pass, but I cringe with him on the ice on 3 on 3.  He is a poor skater and can make bad turnovers.  I though Milano had his best game as a Cap.


Mantha could have a breakaway on an open net and not score. For a guy that had a wakeup call, he still cruises around a lot.

Soon as I saw Oshie, Nicky and (iirc) Gustafsson I said "oh well".. Sure enough they gave up a breakaway. Not much they could do on it though, as the rebound popped straight out and sent their guy. But you could still see how slow they are as the skater pulled away from Oshie and the 2nd guy caught and passed him entering the zone.
