They talked about it briefly, Kevin Hatcher and Gonch each had one hattie as a Cap

that’s a win

Nice win! They looked pretty spry the full 60 tonight! Charlie stood on his head though, to secure the W!!

Yea, saw on NHL channel it was Gonchar in 2000 and Hatcher in I think 93'.

See ya Monday for another 801 watch vs Detroit.. (Saw Jake was back with the Wings. Hope he's slayed his demons)

I wonder how often a player with 0 goals through as much of the season as Gustafson has played breaks out with a hat trick. I bet that's a pretty rare occurrence, especially for a defenseman.

Pretty well played.  Good on Gustafsson.  Rare Hattie - only one he will ever see I'm sure.
Nice to get goals from secondary sources....Gustafsson x3, TVR, Halfway.
I know for a fact anytime all three of them score in the same game, the Caps win

Oshie injury didn't look good.  He pulled something alright...like tore loose an abdominal muscle...he was definitely hurting.  Maybe a groin, but seemed like more distress than that.  He could hardly turn or even stand up straight.  Doesn't look like that will be a couple days, but WTF knows.

Lindy was excellent.  And he really boosts our offensive output.  Whilst he been tending the twine, the Caps have scored...5, 1, 7, 5, 4, 4, 3 which is scoring at 4.13 GPG.  Who knew...putty Lucky Lindy in there would cause the offense to wake up

Hockey is funny how sometimes the puck just goes in for you and other times not.
