Kind of figured a let down game after the long road trip, plus Dallas is pretty good and for some reason one of the teams we really struggle to beat.
I actually expected a real beating, but no it appears the Caps out played Dallas most of the game - had plenty of scoring chances and kept pace with Dallas really well. They got out-goalied, but no fault of Lindgren - beat by pretty lucky bounce on the PPG and an Eller butt deflection for the GWG. Or not even out-goalied, I think the puck just didn't want to go in for us. We had lots of quality chances - more than Dallas.
Got to score more than 1 to win most games though.
It won't get easier with Toronto next game.
