Exactly.  I don’t like the term good losses, but picking up points against a red hot VGK, and on the road after going down early against Carolina - I’ll take these two points and “run like I stole ‘em”.

We did better than expected and we fought to the end, so I'm proud of our boys tonight.  It was a tough game.
At least they caan get some R n R now.

You can't play the whole third period in your own end hoping to run the clock out.  It always ends badly.  This team also has a disturbing tendency to get handily outshot almost every game.  Vegas looked much faster and better which they are.

If you told me beforehand we’d steal a point in this game I’d be okay with that
Kind of sucked to watch it happen though. Vegas looks like a better team but we worked hard about the first 35 minutes. Like Wayne said…you can’t just sit back and play prevent for an entire period. Not against a team with as many weapons as Vegas
I don’t know if it was the mentality or just fatigue that they quit playing and let Vegas drive the game the entire 3rd but the outcome was inevitable
And yeah…we suck at 3v3
Maybe we can compete with Detroit. They appear to be about as mediocre as the Caps
