Not sure what it would of cost, but they could of easily moved up with Yotes, who picked a D that would of surely still been there at #8. Guess Mantha wasn't enough to entice. :snicker:

I'm thrilled with this pick. Leonard at #8 was smart and safe. A clear NHLer with a well-rounded game. This kid is more boom/bust, but that is exactly what you look for in Round 2. He has ELITE offensive ability and plenty of time to work on his skating. Could be a huge steal.
