time for another player only meeting, maybe to discuss tee times
Yeah, the LAST meeting they decided they wanted to play FLA in the first round....cause there are LOTS of golf courses in FLA and early May is a good time for them. Playing golf in NY in May can be windy and cold, so....
I WOULD say the Caps can and have in the past limped into the playoffs like this and then actually played well, BUT there is WAY too much wrong with this team to hope for that. If we play like we did against Colorado then....well we win a game or two. We don't have the goaltending for a long series vs a GOOD team much less more than one series. It's not just the goaltending, but that's a big hole. When you are 5 games from the playoffs and neither of your goaltenders appears to want the job, then you got issues.
Sucks too cause Shitssburgh DID help them out by losing the previous two games. Caps win EITHER of the games vs the Isles and they'd be in third place now.
