True, but to be fair...they won the previous 3 vs at least semi prime time, then stomped Philthy....you can't really expect them to keep that going forever.
Toronto did made us look like we made Philthy look. I don't have high hopes for the playoffs. Our goaltending is just too suspect. I'm not hanging this one on Sammy cause Toronto dominated in every aspect, but sometimes you have to make a key stop and apparently last night wasn't a night where Sammy could do that. He did make some great saves at times, but you can't just let a guy blow it past you coming wide down the wing, and you can't be off your position as much as he is...plus rebounds....on an on.
But really....we just didn't play well....and you tack on the BS penalties...Wilson.....Oshie....Hathy (TOTAL fantasy), plus they missed 4 minutes high stick on Hathy's nose.
Not that our PP would have helped....pretty sure Toronto had more scoring chances on our PP's than we did.
Guys looked tired and after it was 4-1 it was over.
Wilson looked like the only guy out there that came to play...well Carlson was pretty good. Willy is making Eller look like an NHL center as of late
And I don't really recall an Ovi sighting...and Backy...Oooh-fah....Micks right
